Today, I introduced the novel unit (Of Mice and Men). We discussed the Great Depression, the conditions of people in the U.S. and Canada, and the impact this had on the society. I also handed out reading questions for the novel. We came to the consensus that I would read it to the class as much as possible to help with consistency. If you don't feel you are a strong reader, it is best not to miss these classes.
